Steelers-Browns Weather: Cleveland is expected to deal with significant wind throughout Week 3.

The Browns and Steelers will have an additional opponent when they begin the third week of the regular season Thursday night. Significant winds are expected throughout the game at Cleveland’s FirstEnergy Stadium.

Winds are expected to be around 20 mph throughout the game. The temperature will be a chilly 59 degrees at kickoff and is not expected to drop more than 1-2 degrees throughout the evening. Although rain was not expected, Cleveland was hit with significant rain earlier in the day.

The weather could be an advantage for the Browns, who play the NFL’s top-ranked rushing attack and fourth-ranked run defense. Nick Chubb rushed for 228 yards and three touchdowns in Cleveland’s first two games, while Kareem Hunt contributed 104 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries.

However, with JTVeon Clowney out with an injury, Cleveland will play briefly on defense. The Steelers, who rushed for just 166 yards in the first two games of the season, will be hoping to duplicate their success against the Browns on the field in 2021. Steelers running back Najee Harris rushed for 279 yards and two touchdowns in Pittsburgh’s two wins. Cleveland last season.

Cleveland is currently a 4.5-point favorite in Thursday’s game, with an over/under of 38 points, according to Caesars Sportsbook. The two teams are 1-1 head-to-head and 0-2 in the two-game spread.
