The Los Angeles Dodgers are picking up right-hander Daniel Hudson’s $6.5 million option through the 2023 season, sources told ESPN’s Jeff Bassan on Thursday.

Hudson, 35, suffered a season-ending left ACL tear in June when his knee bent while reacting to a ground ball. The team’s best setup reliever had five saves and a 2.22 ERA at the time of the injury.

The Dodgers will also receive a club option for 2024, worth about $6.5 million, sources told ESPN.

Hudson signed a one-year, $7 million deal with a team option last offseason.
