Jacqueline Fernandez’s stylist Leebakshi Ellavadi has admitted receiving Rs 3 crore from Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

New Delhi: The Economic Offenses Wing of the Delhi Police has questioned Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez twice in connection with the extortion case. Apart from Jacqueline, Nora Fatehi, Pinky Irani and Jacqueline’s stylist Leebakshi Ellawadi were also questioned.

According to the latest reports, Sukesh said he knew about Fernandes and Chandrasekhara’s relationship and bought clothes and gifts for Jacqueline with Rs. Ellavadi also admitted that he paid 3 crores.

Chandrasekhar reportedly contacted Ellavadi to seek advice on the brands of clothes worn by the Bollywood actor.

“Last year he contacted Ellavadi to find out about the brands and types of clothes that Fernandes likes. He took advice from her and paid her Rs 3 crore to buy her favorite clothes. The entire amount received by Chandrasekhar was spent by Ellavadi to buy gifts for Fernandes,” PTI reported, quoting an official.

According to a PTI report, Leibakshi also told the police that Fernandes cut off all ties with Chandrasekhar after the news of his arrest broke.

Leebakshi was interrogated for about 8 hours.

Ellavady is a fashion designer and consultant and has been working for various celebrities in the industry for the last 10 years.

Earlier, it was revealed that the Delhi Police had recovered a Ducati Superbike worth around Rs 8 lakh from Jacqueline Fernandez’s manager Prashant as part of the ongoing investigation into the extortion case. “Chandrasekhar had gifted a bike to Prashant on his birthday. Prashant said he refused to take it but Chandrasekhar left the bike key with him. The intention was to get close to Jacqueline Fernandez. Still, according to his statement, he did not help Sukesh Chandrasekhar much. He said he had never ridden a bike. As it was kept in abeyance, he asked Chandrasekhar to take it back. We have seized the bike today,” Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravinder Yadav told ANI.

On August 17, the Enforcement Directorate had filed a second chargesheet incriminating Jacqueline in the multi-crore money laundering case linked to Chandrasekhar.

Chandrasekhar was arrested for duping and extorting money from several high-profile individuals, including Aditi Singh, wife of former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh.

In April last year, Chandrasekhar was arrested in another money laundering case related to the 2017 Election Commission bribery case, in which former AIADMK chiefs were allegedly involved.
