It doesn’t matter if you agree or not: every few years, gruesome serial killer stories are dug up from the gruesome depths of the past and brought to the screens of our entertainment centers. Richard Ramirez, the rapist and serial killer who tormented California residents from 1984 to 1985, is the subject of a documentary series, Night Stalker: The Hunt For a Serial Killer, which will premiere on Netflix in 2021. (It did a good job of highlighting the stories of his victims).

Notorious serial killer and rapist Ted Bundy, who went on a killing spree in several states between 1974 and 1978 (let’s not even discuss his physical appearance), gained cultural relevance in 2019 with the release of the documentaries Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes on Netflix and The Worst, Shocking Evil and Weil biography. Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, a miniseries directed by Ryan Murphy and produced by Netflix, will tell the story of Jeffrey Dahmer, one of the most notorious and disturbing serial killers and rapists in history. This time it is Dahmer who will come alive on the small screen.

Who will take on the role of the sinister Jeffrey? The one and only Evan Peters, a familiar face in Ryan Murphy’s universe (American Horror Story). Although the show is meant to portray his story, which includes cannibalism, attempted zombification, and necrophilia, the reality is much scarier than anything the show has to offer. To be more precise, the atrocities found inside Jeffrey’s refrigerator in Milwaukee in 1991 were enough to change a person completely. Let’s take a spooky excursion into the inside of Jeffrey’s refrigerator and beyond.

In July 1991, AP News reported that a handcuffed and hysterical man led police into Jeffrey’s fly-infested apartment. The apartment was crawling with bits of human bodies and boasted a fridge full of human heads – three of them to be exact. Jeffrey was arrested and charged with multiple counts of first degree murder. There have been several media reports of human hearts in refrigerators.

Jeffrey, also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, took great pleasure in experimenting on the bodies of his victims while they were still alive. He would make holes in the skulls of his victims and inject hydrochloric acid into their brains. Jeffrey’s behavior earned him the nickname “Milwaukee Cannibal”. A former chocolate factory worker’s crazy plan is to build a sex-slave zombie. Geoffrey’s pastimes are somewhat whimsical, and when he was young, he was fascinated by examining the remains of dead animals. (We emphasized the word slightly.)

According to a report in The Milwaukee Sentinel cited by AP News, “Police found 11 skulls scattered in a filing cabinet, a closet, a refrigerator, and a freezer in a man’s bedroom.” Additionally, “police found three headless torsos in a tub in the man’s bedroom.” Numerous graphic images and sketches of various parts of the victims’ bodies were also found.

The gruesome slaughterhouse that was Jeffrey’s apartment haunted death, causing neighbors to complain about a stench for about a year. This led to Geoffrey’s eviction. Clearly charming and intelligent, Geoffrey often found a way to talk himself out of trouble. This time, he said his refrigerator had malfunctioned and the meat inside had gone bad.

It was a police officer named Rolf Müller who found the three severed heads in the refrigerator. He also said that there was a bad smell in the apartment. Therefore, it is not debatable.

At the time, he made the following observation: “You think you’ve seen everything here, and then something like this happens.”

Although Jeffrey was murdered by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver at Columbia Correctional Institution on November 29, 1994, his life haunts and intrigues people to this day, whether it’s for good or not. After completing this, we will have trouble opening refrigerators. Maybe we can go to the kitchen cabinet instead.
