Richarlison scored twice as Brazil beat Ghana 3-0 in a friendly in Le Havre, France on Friday.

Brazil’s first half performance gave fans plenty of reason to be excited by a young team bidding for a sixth World Cup title.

They dominated Ghana from the start with an aggressive pressing game featuring attackers Vinicius Junior, Rabinha, Richarlison and Neymar who provided two assists.

Nine minutes later Rafinha opened the scoring with a bullet header from a corner.

Richarlison extended the lead after 19 minutes with a first-time back-point into the bottom left corner from the edge of the area.

The Tottenham Hotspur forward added a third five minutes before half-time with a brilliant header from Neymar’s free kick.

“I hope the Brazilian fans believe in me more because I score a lot here in the national team,” Richarlison said. “I wear the number nine jersey and every time I wear it I score a goal. I come here and do my job calmly.”

The five-times world champions eased up in the second half as manager Tide sent on a number of substitutes with victory assured and heavy rain in Normandy.

Anthony scored the fourth goal in the 75th minute from Lucas Puccita’s cross after a great combination between the West Ham midfielder and Neymar.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward played the full 90 minutes as an attacking midfielder.

Neymar scored a wonderful goal in the 80th minute after beating three defenders, but sent his shot just wide and he sent a brilliant long-range strike past the post.
