New Delhi: After the heartwarming and emotional trailer, the makers of Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandana and Neena Gupta starrer ‘Goodbye’ have released a new song titled ‘Sun Bardesi’.
The song showcases the beautiful chemistry between Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta. After 40 years in the industry, Amitabh Bachchan & Neena Gupta will be seen together on screen for the first time. The song depicts megastar Amitabh Bachchan reminiscing with a smile on his face and grieving the loss of his loved one. The song portrays Neena Gupta’s fun and emotional side and how she always finds a way to keep everyone around her happy with great care and love.
The song feels like a warm hug on a bad day and is sung by Amit Trivedi in his melodious voice and the lyrics are penned by Swanand Girgire.
The film will mark Rashmika Mandhana’s Bollywood debut. Talking about his character in the film,
About the initial reluctance to play the role, Rashmika said during her conversation with IANS: “When Vikas sir came up with the script, I was like, ‘How am I going to do this? I’m going to make it fun and simple. The person and I said to him, ‘Have you approached the right person?’ I asked. The character was completely opposite to me, but he had faith in me.”
She continued: “I learned that my eyes can express sadness or anger, both of which I can express very well. Now, I’m experimenting with my craft; there’s no joy in doing the same thing over and over again.”
The trailer of the film has already garnered a lot of attention due to its heart-warming storyline. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film shows the journey of the Bhalla family overcoming their tragedies and then being with each other through different events. The film’s heart-touching storyline and incredibly talented star cast have already made the audience excited to watch the upcoming family drama.
The film also stars Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elli Avram, Sahil Mehta and Shivin Narang in supporting roles. Produced by Ekta R Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Good Go, Goodbye is slated to hit the theaters on October 7.
